Mike Elliott is the founder of North Shore Stain Co. As a 7 year Veteran of the Marine Corps he takes pride in every project and is able to use his experience in management to lead a team and oversee each project to perfection. When Mike isn’t at work, he’s spending time adventuring in Northern Michigan with his girlfriend Courtney and their 3 dogs, Murphy, Oakley and Andy.

Our Process

It takes more than just attention to detail to perfect a project. Many people choose to DIY their staining which can end poorly costing the customer more (and causing an eye sore). North Shore Stain Co. uses a penetrating oil product that not only protects from UV rays but also moisture. It is a product that will have long lasting results and will stand up to the unpredictable weather in Northern Michigan allowing you to enjoy your summer grilling season.
